In 2002 Thomas was names to the US Ski Teams development Program. Thomas quickly became on of the teams most promising young athletes before suffering a career ending injury in 2004. With his skiing career behind him Thomas dedicated his life to becoming a first class product design engineer.
After his retirement from Ski Jumping Thomas and his dad started a adaptive equipment company. Over the last 8 years he has designed and built several different models of wheelchairs and other types of adaptive sports equipment.
Thomas decided that he had to customize his education so that he could not only design products but also fabricate them in their machine shop. He started his education at a community college that offer both Vocational classes (Welding, Tool and Die, Machine Operation ext...) and engineering classes (Product Design, Solid works, CAD, Pro Engineering ext...)
Thomas has acquired several assocites degrees, ASS Welding technogily, ASS Product Design Engineering, ASS Metal Fabercation, ASS Business Management and is now working on a BS in Product Design Engineering (PT)
